Are you against watching them again? For example, 50 cent wants to make Gamboa vs. Broner right now. The majority of people believe that Broner would win right now, so would that diminish your belief in Gamboa? Would you still be interested in seeing him fight again within another couple of months? Golden Boy has seemed reluctant to put Canelo in with someone that might have a better chance of beating him. Now, if Canelo fought Cotto for example, and lost, would you still buy a Canelo PPV soon after? Pacquiao just lost. Would you guys still be interested in buying a Pacquaio PPV if he was to fight in April or May? I figure, if I'm a fan of the guy, and he loses, and fights again soon after, I'd still buy the fight.
It depends. I bought Cotto's first fight after the Margarito loss, which was even before we knew about the plaster. Cotto was still young enough to bounce back, although I wasn't sure he would ever be the same. Right now, it would hurt a little inside to buy a Cotto/Canelo PPV because I'm confident Cotto is done at an elite level. Pac suffered a brutal KO after years of wars. I'd prefer he retire and don't see myself paying for a PPV of his in April or May. He will likely either face a no hoper or get seriously hurt and I don't want to watch either.
nah especially if they are young but if you're talking of pac, i'll prefer that he retires now. he could have of lost in the same scenario against margo when he was hit by two big body shots but was able to hold on.
