Mayweather and Pac killed boxing for casuals

    Mayweather and the Pacman were the two fighters that casual boxing fans watched,I have friends who hardly ever watch boxing but were dying to see these two fight each other,now that the biggest fight of the last few years is never gonna happen its gonna lose a lot of the casual fans,I have heard lots of people call boxing a joke,would rather watch Ufc where the best fight the best,so well done Pacman and Floyd by refusing to fight each other you have made boxing look really bad and driven people away and before the usual **** responses from the nerds i just wanna say i couldnt give a **** what you say,you know its true..

    If they both wanted it then it would have happened,Floyd wanted it less but Pacman never seemed too up for it either,who care,**** them both..

    Nonsense. Pacquiao and Mayweather piggy backing off eachothers name increased the visibility of the sport for casuals. It only ruined it for hardcore fans.

    Hell Manny getting knocked out and coming back will be met with great fanfare from casuals. Love an underdog rocky story the media does.

    Boxing looks like a joke,Floyd and pac deserve blame,Pacman is finished,has looked **** the last four fights..

    How is boxing a joke? All they were talking about all day on ESPN was the fight. Hell these dumb muther****ers were calling it the greatest fight they've ever seen, and how it was the greatest KO of all-time. :rofl

    Casuals never really cared if Manny and Mayweather fought. Not like true fans. They are here for the desperate housewives aspect of boxing. Its why Floyd despite not having a fan friendly style makes the most money in the sport.

    Drama sells fights. There will be always a new drama in boxing. Watch I guarantee Pac makes more money in his comeback against Rios than he did in this fight.

    Yeah I don't agree. I think Pac is the type of fighter people will watch win or lose. I think Pac and Mayweather also bring more visibility to the guys that are out to get them.

    There is always gonna be top dogs that people love to watch. Before we had Trinidad, DLH, Tyson Chavez, Leonard, Duran, Hagler, Hearns, Ali, Robinson.

    the only type of people I see follow the dying fad of mma are chubby white kids from the burbs. Down here in south florida nobody knows about UFC fighters but everyone knows who pac, floyd, cotto are.

    I dont even like talking boxing with casuals, which limits me to forum discussions cause i hardly know many boxing fans

    it was so annoying to explain how they dont fight, or to see peoples opinions on how the fight would go down from ppl who dont get it
