The contract was changed and Juan agreed to it, so I guess that means that Floyd gets full credit right?
So beating the guy (at the same weights 146-147 vs 142-143 4lb difference) that damn near killed Manny on Saturday means nothing? Makes perfect sense!
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl one of the best posts i've ever had in response to one of mine. i'm a brit who can't stand the little **** head, pac. i've enjoyed watching him get taken out by his biggest nemesis! all i said was that floyd was the naturally bigger fighter with a bigger, more natural frame at 147. i'm not trying to make excuses for pac in the slightest. just telling it like it is.
So then again, why fight Marquez without any qualms but insist on such demands against Pacquaio? :think
It makes Floyd look worse. This little man he's already beat just knocked out the guy he spent years negotiating and complaining about, after facing him 3 years prior. Floyd looks irrelevant. You don't get a win by proxy because the guy you beat won against someone years later. That's idiotic.
Marquez had every disadvantage and fought for 8mil and made history and cemented his place as an ATG. Mayweather had every advantage, lost out on 100mil and stayed at home and will always have that ? for the fights he didn't take. I don't see how Mayweather looks good here.
Does Leonard get credit for Haglar destroying Hearns? Does Garcia get credit for Morales beating Pac? Does Fraizer get credit for Ali beating Foreman? No? Then *****s need to get Floyd's balls out of their mouths. Floyd don't get **** for JMM's win. This win belongs to JMM and no one else. Floyd is a coward who ducked the Pac for years. Only a weak sauce like Floyd would come in overweight against a fighter moving up 2 weight classes for the first time. Floyd could have fought Pac. It's too bad he'll be known as a ducker and a coward.
Really???? Um...ok I guess I'll bite. The Marquez fight was Floyd's first fight back from retirement and since Juan isn't a premadona it was easy to make. The Pac fight went into NEGOTIATION. When people NEGOTIATE they tend to compromise. Floyd and Pac both being premadonnas tried to get their way in the negotiations. Floyd actually agreed to a lot in negotiations including a 50/50 split and a what was it $1mil or $10mil penalty for every pound over 147. Then asked for a drug test. Even though Floyd agreed to Pacs demands Pac protested against testing up until the day of the fight. Now Floyd compromised and said ok up until one week before. Pac said it has to be a month before. So Floyd said two weeks. Pac said no. That ended negotiations. And Arum the spin master made the public believe Floyd was ducking the guy who refused to take a drug test (seems bizarre when you think about it almost impossible to do). In order to even try and survive the PR war Floyd had to insist on drug test FROM THEN ON!! I hope this clears things up. For the record I blame both fighters for the super fight not happening. I also don't think Marquez's victory has any impact one way or another on Floyd.
Floyd didn't even bother to make the catchweight restriction plus JMM jumped what 2 weights to make the fight. The scales weren't exactly balanced on that fight. Not saying JMM would've won. Just saying Floyd had a lot of advantages going in. And you know styles make fights. Its not like Pac and JMM fight the same way.
floyds sorry ass couldnt even make weight for the fight against JMM. . . and Marquez being the ****ing G that he is still went ahead with the fight
