Lose some family members, get dumped by a few women, etc. That'll toughen you up in no time.

  5. Roadwork, run-run and run, when you get to that last mile and your chest is burning and your legs feel like jello just push, that will increase your confidence in the ring...

Having experienced things makes me sad? :huh

It made me tougher, I can tell that with certainty. Sometimes physical pain is just a sign that you're still alive. There were times when physical pain literally made me laugh. I agree with your second post, experience builds confidence. But this is about mental toughness, IMO you either have it or you don't. Life may toughen you up along the lines, I don't wish that upon anyone but **** happens.

Think about the people who looked down on you. That is enough to serve as motivation.

Making fun of other people makes me feel better about myself. This is probably because I might be insecure about life. On the otherhand, I might be thinking too much probably because I watched too many episodes of Oprah growing up but nevermind about ths psychiatrist bull****....Making fun of EMO's ALWAYS makes me feel better about myself.
