The "majority of boxing fans" I can assure you appreciate Manny Pacquiao. ESB & boxing forums on the internet don't represent the majority of fans. Maybe the majority of children / ******s who post on the internet. Real boxing fans should and do appreciate Pac and recognize his ATG status. When he retires, he will undoubtedly be remembered as an ATG , there's no question.

Yeah, Pacquiao's awesome. The guy just flat-out brings it. Definitely one of boxing's all-time greats.

Always been some what of a "fan" and my respect has grown for him

But his fans seriously needed to be humbled and put in their place

I can never lose my respect for Pac, because with that style of his he should have 10 ko losses just like this one, moving up through the weight classes, jumping into harder punches.

JMM could never have gotten the KO if Pac hadn't gone in with the intention of killing him. That's because Manny doesn't play it safe and takes all challenges. How people can denigrate his career is disgusting, considering the SRL Donny Lalonde catchweight, which is actually legitimately contemptible.

Manny is awesome and even though every generation has stand out fighters, he is irreplaceable for certain traits.

:deal Fo sho count me in. Both showed the world tho past their best days what motivation can do. Easily Fight Of The Decade for me so far. Yes my avi pokes fun at him, but there is time for being a fanboy and time for respect. These 2 great because of each other I dont care what anyone thinks. They'll be remembered mostly for their classic rivalry and I dare say one of the best if not THE best in history.

Same.Fighters get beat, it happens, and Manny has given us some amazing moments.

Just a shame him and Floyd never got it on.

About the same. I always liked Manny just don't like his crazy ass fans. I felt bad for him even though I was going for Marquez.
