I wouldn't say given up. I like watching all types of fighters... i even haven't given up on Victor Ortiz lol. Just think with a knockout like he had against Prescott the boxing world thought 'Let's take a few of his flurries and then once we get inside we can hit him on the bullseye'. At that time Khan was relgated to just a name... British public had written him off (abit like how they doin now). The way he came back and won the WBA off Kotelnik was impressive.

It's sad cos Britain had a champion from 2009 - 2011 and Khan defended his titles a number of times, yet I think they never supported him. Even on the Brit forum a lot of bitter/racist comments regarding Khan.
