Marquez cements his place in the pantheon of Mexican boxing greats

    So considering that in your view Marquez beat Pacquiao 3 out of 4 fights, plus of course taking into account JMM entire resume, body of work, skill level, titles at 4 (really 5) weight classes...etc. you think it's a stretch to say Marquez is in the top 2-3 in Mexican boxing history?

    6 months prior to the Raheem fight, Morales beat Pacquiao and just a months prior to that fought a competative fight against MAB. How can you say or agree that he was FAR removed from his prime?

    JMM's resume is not better than MAB or Morales. That's just silly.

    Wow talk about a knee jerk reaction if I have ever saw one ..Lets put things in perspective ,it took him 4 times to KO him ..Outside of that who has he beat to really get ranked over these guys outside of Manny ? Let the dust settle first before we crown him the greatest Mexican boxer ever !

    I rate Pacquiao as an ATG and as such winning 3/4 fights possibly 4/4 against him including a KO win is very significant especially considering all 4 fights were fought at distinct weight classes. I'm not saying Marquez definitively is the GOAT in Mexican boxing history but I do think it is a conversation worth having.
