IMO Rickster should leave Billy, things seem to be going pretty stale on all fronts, and a change in promoter AND trainer could be just the shake up Ricky needs.
May I suggest Peter Harrison? Hes at a loose end just now after Scottys latest *ahem* worries with the spanish authorities, & could take Ricky to the next level.

    Just kidding Billy:D

Billy has been great for Ricky, turned him into the complete fighter in my opinion, Ricky punches with authority now, and thats down to Billy. AND mentally you can see Burns is a lot more confident in himself, I think Billys cockiness has been rubbing off on the Rickster(ooer missus!)

Billy may be like a nasty uncle to me here, but even so I would be a sad laddie if these two parted ways. Somehow I dont think it will though.

Long may the good ship Billy & Ricky sail

I know there's certain subjects you don't broach Billy, but I think the majority of us have no problem with Alex, and I've said many times that Alex is a big part of Ricky's success, but even though the next one up played his part too,we do worry that he could damage Ricky's legacy in the long run if he doesn't get the fights that you,Ricky and us fans want.
You only have to look at Alec's promotional history to see how loyal he is to *****.
Will ***** give us all what we want?

Don't worry Billy I'm sure Mr Salmond will be around for a few photoshoots towards the end of next year/start of 2014 ;)
But maybe I'm alone on this, but my opinion is that Ricky is gaining a lot of fans down here away from the nationalistic banter.

As for the OP, it isn't even worth commenting on, posted on a forum here where Rickys current trainer also posts.
Sounds like ****ery of the highest order to me.

Without blowing smoke up Billys arse, (I don't have the adequate lung capacity), why would Ricky be going anywhere. He's been on an amazing upward curve for the past few years? As covered extensively already if anything needs changing it would be his promoter to get the fights his efforts/status deserve. But from the comments on here Rickys a loyal sort, maybe to a fault, but I ain't going to denounce someone for that.
I just hope he gets where he deserves to be and doesn't have unnecessary regrets.

That definitely needs to happen. Burns should compare notes with Cleverly on what they're being told. They'll have similar tales to tell along the lines of "one more bum then the big fight is coming", "Just faxed off a mega purse offer for a unification fight" and finished off with "The unification's off so me and my boys have a cracking list of bums to look through over a long lunch. Pocket money's in the post".

If Ricky and Nath really think there are moves afoot 'behind the scenes' to put them in the ring with likes of Broner or Hopkins/Dawson etc, then they must be expecting Santa down their chimneys in a couple of weeks too.

No sir, he has guided Burns to be a two weight WBO belt holder. There is a very, very distinct difference between the terms.

That being said, I rather like Burns, despite sometimes having awful defences of his belt. I'm glad things are still going swimmingly in Team Burns

TBH this guy could be and most could. Some feed info via social networks as well so can't make assumptions that this or anyone else is nowhere near a gym to get a source.

This info has been knocking about for a little while as well.
