left a bitter taste more than anything, things like this really give them a bad name too, obviously doesnt give a **** about the fans
I am going to this and personally couldn't care less the Burns fight is off. I have no time whatsoever for him or his career, and am going largly because of Groves vs Johnson.
Yeah, and it's a ploy to get everyone on his side. Eddie is playing the fans big time. I can't believe so many people have fallen for it. But of course, refunds should be available for Frank's show.
Not giving refunds should be illegal. The 'card subject to change' line has been abused by criminal promoters for too long.
Hello mate, sorry to hear about that :-( I know FW is pretty sly with how he words the tickets, allowing for changes of opponents and even figths not happening. But.............. If the ticket is stating World Title boxing and there is none surely that is grounds for cancellation?
Even if it is a ploy , its good to see a promoter suck up to the fans, i was hoping Hearns approach would kick FW into gear but alas that dont seem to be happening.
It seems the ticket company are the problem, let's see how Frank responds. The hate mob haven't given FWP the chance to sort it out.
They might as well offer refunds in this situation - I can't believe many people bought tickets to see the Burns fight! Groves-Johnson is clearly the main attraction...
I don't wonder at all, you idiot. You clearly can't read if you think that. Frank's a bad old man. End of. But my point, again and again, is that people need to be consistent. When Eddie puts on a **** main event, as in Brook and Bellew's last outings, he should be criticised. This isn't exactly complex as a position. I actually like Eddie, just despise the morons who don't ask tough questions and give the benefit of the doubt too easily.
When has an Allegedly show appeared as advertised? I've only been to five Allegedly shows - the two Gavin fights at York Hall vs Lomax and Witter, and three cards at the Echo. DeGale vs Smith Mitchell vs Murray Bellew vs Cleverly Because all of them were stacked, the odd pull out wasn't going to knack it.
