Why do people seem to reckon Pac will the same fighter upon his return to the ring?

Strong willed fighters can make it back. Lewis, Vlad, Hearns, Duran, are very strong willed. Pac is from that cloth, if hr wants it he can come back as good as before. His athleticism us still there, so is the power. Ge just needs his focus back.

 

That wasn't a regula type knockout where the fighter was wobbly and shaky legs and ref waves it off, or refs count until 10 and fighter tries to get up but couldn't make it in time.

The KO loss of Pac was so devastating that he fell face first arms on the side and was literally unconscious for a long time. At age 34 and already slipping, are you telling us that he will fully recover from this?

I mean I love Pac because he is fun to watch and hopefully I'm wrong and he fully mentally recovers from this since Pac is exciting, but let's be realistic here.

 

It was disgusting and he should retire after a knockout like that. Brutal. He's done.

He didnt suffer a concussion which would have been the bigger problem. His brain was fine, just lights out. This is a mental problem at this point, and yes I think hes tough enough to do it. But having his mom and wife crying wont help the problem. Lewis was iced by Rahman took the rematch and returned the favor to go on better than ever. It's on him.

 

And if one guy trains a year and you train eight weeks, who wants it more. Pac been in Jmm head for a decade, he was gonna die trying that night. Pac needs to be a full time fighter again.

Show me any where that Pac suffered a concussion. If I'm wrong prove it. I'm pretty sure Jmm suffered one though. Hell yes I want Pacs best interest, he'll never forgive himself for hanging up the gloves when he believes his body is fully capable. Your only young once.

 

His only chance is against a soft puncher like bradley but he would probably get out worked and be gun shy. Maybe fight malignaggi?

 

Most sites reported that both fighters received a concussion after the fight. Pacquiao had a CT scan which came back negative, but that's not a concussion test.

There are also a lot of problems that can be associated with being punched really hard in the head other than a concussion, both physical and mental.

It's absurdly optimistic to think that a guy in his mid 30's who has already appeared to be declining is going to bounce back perfectly from his first KO loss in a decade, especially a KO of that nature.

I know that after that kind of shot the body natural reaction is to shut down, and there is a chance that recurs when hit again, only one way to tell. Brain was rattled some im sure. But I'm sure hes better off than taking a 12 round beating. He took a few good shots.

Fighters last longer these days, better training, nutrition, and longer recovery times. Hes not gonna be twenty-five again. I dont think his decline is that sharp, hes fought three guys in a row who were all fighting off the backfoot. Hes also been a part time fighter, politician, actor, singer, and whatever else he does with his time, which didn't let him fully commit to fighting.
