Anyone who counts Ward's win over Dawson as meaning anything is clearly trolling

Its a bit like Jon Jones in MMA. In reality, he is already the best light heavyweight of all time because he didn't **** around, he just clowned one quality fighter after another.

Guys like Leonard, Duran etc aren't easily overtaken as their records are littered with greatness. Calzaghe is or was the best 168 of all time but its good that his lack of competition is coming back to haunt him by a fighter who is just dominating one top fighter after another.

Thats the way it should be done. Credit to Ward. If you don't win then you can still lose a couple but be respected ala Carl Froch. You don't have to be undefeated to be supported, respected and establish a strong legacy.

Nodoby complained because they had no choice in the matter except Wards camp, just cos Ward was so called inexperienced he deserved to be treated with kid gloves and given home comforts and do as he pleased with the refs turning their heads? **** off! This was down to ward being America`s hope in the tourney and he was given every advantage.

I dont doubt wards skills i doubt his heart and guts, Froch and Kessler are both champs now theyve fought Ward in his comfort zone he should return the favour ( not that it was ever their favour as they had no control over where the fights were to be fought when against Ward). Plus who else is he going to fight Froch is no.2 etc

Ward is the no.1 no doubt there.

Where is ward stronger than Calzaghe other than defence?

Its not as much about rematching its about fighting abroad who else should he fight abroad? Please dont come out with 'wards the champ he dont need to go abroad and fight' as that will make you look a hypocrite seeing as both Froch and Kessler fought ward away as champs( this where the conevience ward got in the tourney kicks in).

And if you criticise calzaghe in that category of not fighting abroad then you must do the same to Ward, Calzaghe was ready to fight hopkins in 2002 in the US but hopkins backed out, not Joes fault.

theres many who want those rematches due to the tourney being fought on unfair terms

Don't worry Joe lovers, maybe old Fish Eyes can write one his informative, unbiased Sun articles telling you how Calzaghe is the greatest ever, better than Ward and how Roy Jones ducked him for years. That will make the pain go away.

Ward is superior to Calzaghe, yet Sakio Bika said Joe Calzaghe was easily the best boxer/fighter he's ever faced, and he's not the only one

The Kessler Calaghe beat was clearly different to the Kessler Ward opened up with headbutts and dirty fighting to achieve victory, take that fight anywhere outside of Oakland and Ward would never have gotten away with that ****, Kessler had to pull out of the tournament thanks to Wards dirty tactics.

Calzaghe beat the unbeaten Viking Warrior with pure boxing skills only, listen to Manny Stewarts commentary on how great Calzaghe is, and how he literallt stands and applauds at the end of one of the rounds, so great was Super Joes boxing exhibition
