if you asked me before the 4th match, could any result for JMM win the whole 4 fight series, and I would have said no. What happened might have just by the way he knocked him out. JMM can walk away.

He has nothing else to prove, he said he was going to win by KO, and he won by KO. Does not matter what was happening before the KO ,or what the rest of the fight WOULD have been like, alot of you guys are dreaming. The man is 39years old, been fighting since he was 8, if he wants to call it a day, so be it.

I think this would be the best possible way to retire, I doubt there are many who have retired on such a high.

That said, it would be amazing if he fought one more fight at Estadio Azteca and got a good win in front of a partizan crowd.

Personally I'd love to see him fight Amir Khan there in Mexico and for him to win by brutal knockout.

If he's truly looking to retire, then its a good win to retire off of....

But boxing's all about money... cuz that's what these fighters do, its their livelihood and it brings food to the table, and he's got a family....

This he knows - peeps gonna want a 5th fight cuz they want to see Pacquiao stop him. Not some peeps..... ALOT of peeps. And the 4th fight was a damn good show for both sides.....

Who cares if he ends up losing the 5th one... i will guarantee he will make much more money in it than the 4th one.

I believe he is a "family man" more than a "proud fighter".... he will take a 5th

I think he has a few more great fights left in him, add to that he could finally make the giant paydays he has long deserved if it wasn't for the robberies.

That said though... i want him to be able to enjoy his money and fame and live a healthy long life.
If he decides to retire i will applaud him and his career and be happy for him, even if i will be sad that hes gone.

Even before sparking Pacquiao, Marquez made his mark in the sport. Retire on top, Juan. You deserve it.

IMO he should retire while he has good health, he's been in more wars than Pacquiao and has received alot of punishment in the last few years. I defensively would chose health before money, and he already has enough money to live a good life.

    Fight Bradley or bust.
Will give Juan his deserved shot @ his 5th world title.
(Manny Pac is in the past now 4-0)

Does anyone have a idea how much money JMM roughly has made?

I know hes never been a earner like Floyd or Pac but i think he made 6 mil + ppv upside in this fight, i assume he got paid well in the 3d fight and the Floyd fight right?

Should have easily enough to ride in the sunset and never have to worry ever again.

he even said pac is a tough fight. he said it would be a huge risk again. he said he could get hurt. he said its better to retire with all his marbles in his head than end up brain damaged. hes close to 40, and i agree

I honestly do not know of anyone I would be dying to watch him face.

He has done the biggest thing he could do ever do. The only other thing is beating PBF but he is just too big for JMM

The only way I would want to see that fight is if they met at 140.
