Lol. Pac knocked him down within 2 minutes of the first round! So for 2 minutes.. Hatton was winning?
Obviously he doesn't win round 1. Round 2 he got knocked out. I never heard anybody say anything about Hatton winning for 2 minutes.

This is not comparable. After SIX rounds, Pac was ahead on judges score cards, and most peoples cards. About 18 minutes of the fight Pac was in the lead (even after exchanging KDs) until getting brutally KOd .. Compared to 2 minutes that you say Hatton won. Just dumb.

Manny was too quick. Really Hatton was never the same after Mayweather. I will be honest though, I think JMM's knockout over Manny is better than this knockout.

The video of Hatton shows how much Manny has slowed down. And it isn't that he was fighting Hatton and not JMM. His energy is so much better then and he looks fresh.

Exactly, and now Pac says Marquez won because of a "lucky punch".

I guess Pac will be snorting coke and consorting with prostitutes soon. Oh wait...

What's the point of this thread?

Manny always takes the early part of their fights. Pac man is a fast starter, marquez is a slow starter.

It was standard procedure and I expected marquez to find himself from around round 5-6.... Which he clearly did.

Apart from the knockdown and knockout to pac the fight was going exactly the same as the other fights had.

I'm from Finland so I'm totally unbiased. I've been here for a while and I have never seen anyone saying Hatton was winning the fight.

And to be honest Pacquiao-Marquez IV rounds 5-6 made me think that for the first time in 4 fights I thought someone(Pac) was dominating there. But what happened next? That is what boxing is all about :good

Come on, you can't put it down to a pattern. All their rounds from previous fights are close, even when Pacquiao starts better. Rounds 5 and 6 were not close, Marquez was getting battered more than in any other fight. Had Pacquiao not been reckless he would have finished Marquez off by round 8 - I know I'm speculating but you can see this was not the same pattern as previous fights, no way

Actually, the first round of the first fight was total domination of Marquez by Pac. The 5th and 6th of this last fight did not feel like Pac was dominatingto me. In my opinion Marquez was measuring Pac, trying to time him for the right hand. Marquez hit Pac with the right throughout the fight including the 5th and 6th. This fight was a strategic victory for Marquez, there is no silver lining or brightside for Pac. He was set up and knocked out.

:rofl Hatton was never winning that fight numb nuts....that was an utter domination where PAC always had control. PAC vs JMM was A LOT more competitive you knuckle head. Even though Manny was winning and doing the most damage before he got slept.....JMM was still knocking out a few corners regardless of who was winning the rounds. Ultimately it didn't matter who was winning the fight because Juan found the answer he's been looking for all these years to best PAC. Don't try grasping for straws kid...there's no comparing the two fights.
