Demarco wasnt anything much anyway, he was lucky to be where he was. Demarco just layed on a sacrificial plate for Broner, far too much hype taken from that fight.

    Do we now?

I dont need to get behind anybody. Call me a glory hunter, but I support the best, because they work the hardest and perform to the highest level. Just because Ricky Burns is a nice guy and a decent fighter who has improved, I dont have to get behind him. But you can of course! :good But speak for yourself. Nice guys dont always finish 1st. There is a saying, "nice guys always finish last."

I aint in the business for last, or the disappointment of failure, I'm here to support the very best, the few elite, and revel in the glory of witnessing greatness in the ring.

I still think Ricky Burns is a domestic level fighter and would be given a miracle if he got a fight with Broner in the US. From 3 failed opponents, meaning no fight at all, no Walsh, no Ocampo or Derry....to then get a massive prizefight with Broner?

He'll be a fortunate lad if that fight comes of after this latest mess. :good

If the Broner fight happens, he'll get his big fight and then be back to domestic level scraps.

What I'm saying is I'm sick of people on here and other places just slagging Burns off, left, right and centre. Nothing he does is ever good enough and whenever you discuss him vs Broner it's always "Broner will kill him".

Burns is underrated and doesn't get the credit he deserves or support he needs if he's to become a big star. If any of other lightweight has done to Kevin Mitchell what Ricky did then everyone would be sucking his dick.

If you think Burns is domestic level then why did he wipe the floor with Kevin? Mitchell is a great fighter himself who outclassed John Murray (who's a solid, Euro-level fighter at the least).

I know the recent names that have been touted as opponents for him have been **** but that's down to FW's ineptitude, not the fact that Ricky isn't good enough to fight world class names.

I'm not saying Burns would definitely beat Broner, but people need to stop writing him and his career off before he even gets in the ring with him.

Demarco faught dumb. Burns wont do that, Burns knows how to move around the ring, that and his longer reach is the key against Broner because Broner doesnt move well.

I was pulling your legs guys, I dont think Ricky is domestic level, but HE IS being forced to fight at the level. He is a domesticated champion, somebody needs to let the reigns go and let him explode at world level. Being a nice guy is lovely, but lets be honest, "hardcore" followers only know about that, to many Ricky is just a nobody at the moment. The opponents he is being made to fight arent helping that, are they? What is it doing for him in the US?....because this is ultimately where he will be headed (I hope)

Ricky isnt the problem, the matchmaking and promotion is. How many times have I said that!?!

And Billy you should know me by now dude, f*ck sake!

I still think Broner beats Burns, but no need to get into yet another slagging match about it, I'm allowing you to believe in what you believe, that Ricky will beat him, so let others believe what they want to mate!

Ok, why do you think this mate? What has Ricky got that will beat Broner? Dont just say, "he will beat him" like all the fanboys do, your in the mans corner, you see him everyday, I expect more from a professional, what is it Ricky has got that makes you so sure he is gonna beat Broner wherever whenever and cause you to come looking for me?

I could say so many jokes with that, but I wont, I'll keep it serious.

I'll be waiting for you if Broner wins mate! :hey
