Haye\Vitali saga

oh yeah, beating a number 3 ranked HW when you are 42-43 is easy and is not an accomplishment at all. Just like dominating HW division for many many years. Anybody can do it.

 

They haven't retired yet so they dont make any relevant lists outside of made up ones by fanboys.

 

Who is 43?

Vitali is 41. Charr wasn't even ranked till he signd a piece of paper with Vitali's name on it.

 

If they're already top 15 and top 10, they can pretty much only climb the ranks, particularly Vitali at his advanced age where a loss couldn't be held against him.

 

So if Haye or anybody else beats Vitali they will get zero credit but when his brother beats past it, over 40 year olds who are in far worse shape than Vitali , he's a great Champ and is deserving of ATG status?..... Hahaha

If Vitali is good enough to beat his opponents then a loss can and will be held against him.

 

That's some ****ed up logic/reading comprehension you're exhibiting there... Haye would certainly get credit for beating an old Vitali, as would anyone else. I said a loss like that wouldn't hurt Vitali's ATG standing at this point in his career. The only way it would hurt his ATG standing is if Haye, or whoever theoretically beats Vitali, came to be seen as a top 15 ATG HW lol in which case he could surpass Vitali having beaten him.

A loss is a loss , it WILL affect him, weather a nuthugger like yourself wants to accept or not it is of zero relevance to his standing. Do you understand that? Probably not.

 

A loss to Haye wouldn't hurt his ATG status at his age after what he's accomplished, and that fact kills you. :hi:

Yes it would. You're saying when a boxer get to a certin age , a loss wont affect him. If Calzage came back today and lost, his legacy would be hampered. Thats why fighters stay retired, or retire early so not to pick up an unnecessary loss. If another defence of his title is a benefit to his legacy , a loss is will most certainly have a negative effect.

I don´t think Haye will actually do much for Vitali´s legacy, but it should be a interesting fight nontheless.
