Why is Khan still trying to make 140? It's pointless.

Because his team likely know that that if he moves up to 147lbs he'll get his ****ing arse handed to him. Too many big punchers in the division. Ortiz, Berto, Bradley, Guerrero, Marquez, Pacquiao, Mayweather and maybe even Kell Brook, all these guys would beat him.

Amir himself won't know/accept this. He's too arrogant. The businessmen above him like Oscar De La Hoya and Richard Schaefer do though. They'll try to keep Khan at 140lbs for as long as possible because they know that when he moves up, he's doomed.

 

Pretty much this, that group is like a murderers row to Khan at the moment.

Guerrero would. Bradley likely outbox him.

 

After seeing Guerrero's inside fighting ability against Berto, i wouldn't give Khan much chance against him at all. Guerrero is a very versatile fighter and i think he'd maul Khan.

Bradley is just ALOT better than Khan technically and would beat him.

Berto and Ortiz knock him spark out, they're just too big and powerful. Floyd, Manny and Marquez doesn't bear thinking about. Brook also knocks him the **** out inside 30 seconds.

I think Khan could well stop Brook at 147., I don't think it's a 1,000,000 to 1 shot or anything.

 

He's pretty much ****ed at 140 too. How's he ever gunna become a champ there with Garcia, Rios, Matthyse, even Peterson and maybe soon Broner around?

 

I think the reason might be that he's already lost a great deal of the power he used to have since he went to 140.He stopped a guy who was wide open all night on his feet,and I felt that,despite some impressive moments,he should've KO'd a much smaller guy.
It looked like a welter fighting a light heavy at times.

 

That's because his technique has gone backwards

I haent seen him land a clean punch in about 4 fights

 

Some people letting a win over an overmatched lightweight get them carried away.

Khan will not stop Brook

 

because he'd get slaughtered by any of the top 5 at welter. if he's still effective at 140 he should stay there as long as he can.
