I think it's because, despite his relative lack of experience, his level of competition has been ****ing dreadful.

Even against the non-entities he's been facing, he still looks extremely raw.

Please, from 2005 through 2008 (even after his first loss to Wlad), there was unprecedented, since this forum's inception, heavyweight hype behind Sam Peter. Hype begats haters. As you well know, he had plenty of fans to balance it out.

Wilder has few fans and quite a few haters relative to his low level of exposure. He's hardly a Sam Peter in any way.

Once again: While I applaud your efforts, arguing actual facts with a Brittard is like trying to teach a pig to sing.

(it wastes your time, and really annoys the pig.)

I support him if he continues to step up in competition Price wasn't a great opponent but better than his last ones were but I like Wilder

ummm yeah...thats the understatement of the year.

why protect someone to this degree with almost 30 fights unless he cant fight?

If Wilder is the real deal it's time he steps in with a live body. I want to see Wilder in with a top 15 HW. Wilder/Helenius would be nice. I think Helenius would put his lights out though.

audley harrision would kick his ass...... and already has commented how easy it was to hit him during their sparring sessions earlier this year....and he was saying this in a nice way as to not burn any bridges, it was off the record of course

Yeah Wilder is very easy to hit, his defense is terrible as is his footwork. Yeah it's been going around that Audley schooled Wilder in sparring

Just imagine what someone like Helenius, fury or Price would do to Wilder.

Yours aswell I'd assume, leaping to his defense whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Why would we brits give a **** about some bum basher when we have great prospects in Fury and Price?
Butterbean made a career out of smashing cans,Wilder is going the same route, deal with it.

Boytsov syndrome. Fighting cans for half a decade and not stepping it up in your physical prime tends to put off rather many supporters.

There are plenty of people on here who are not British, and aren't on Wilders nutsack like you are cableaddict. I'm American, and so is Iceman71. Wilder is just garbage, and doesn't deserve the attention he is getting unless he steps up and proves himself.

Exactly, and to be fair he comes across as a decent bloke,I read an article about his daughter suffering from spina bifida etc and I think he's fighting these opponents to make easy cash to support him and her,if he can keep smashing cans and earning some easy dollar why not?I don't think he'll risk stepping up,possibly being KO'd and fading into obscurity.Apparently he called out Jennings and when Jennings agreed to the fight Wilder ran a mile ... he's in it for the easy money, simple as.

I'm American too, and I can tell a FRAUD when I see one. When a guy fights for FOUR YEARS against NOTHING but no hopers, you KNOW there is a reason.

And that reason is found squarely in Wilder's already-exposed fragile mandible. :nod
