Brittards? Are you 12 years old. (reminds me why I don't normally read the general forum) I was hoping and from what I was told expected him to be good. If he had beaten fighters around the top 10 (even top 40) I would give him some credit.
Cable is his biggest fan,and to the guy posting the video of Fury getting floored ...he was never in trouble from that punch, unlike Wilder nearly being punched unconscious by Harold Sconiers ffs(Sconiers is just as feather fisted as Pajkic!)
:huh The jab didnt look good against a guy who has half a pulse at any rate than. Also you think that flat footed, plodding around is incredible footwork>??!?? backing up in straight lines with hands down?? am I being trolled? If you want to see a bigman move around the ring fluidly watch this [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtAwwq2cq2I[/ame] :yep anyways I saw Price and Wilder weigh in the other day and thought man look at these titans, then saw them fight and was severely dissapointed... he throws the right hand fast and strong and effortlessly but nothing else was very impressive just being honest
@Cable .... so Wilder now has incredible footwork?GTFO with that man,he's like a baby giraffe on ice.
What impresses you most about this, the fact that Fury is fighting a cab driver, the fact that Fury constantly drops his left, or the slowness of his punches? Personally, I can't decide.
For those of you too lazy to do your own research: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6epKuRJJpHI[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxmuZMSF0Po[/ame] Yeah, really lousy footwork and defense!
You mean like Wlad? Yes, when you have an 84" reach, backing up straight is enough. Sure, I'd like to see Wilder develop some lateral movement, that's his only known weakness. Who said he was perfect? He needs to augment his current trainer (who has done a pretty good job) with someone new. - but if you're going to knock him for holding his hands low, then you might as well jump up on a table, drop your pants, and scream "IDKSAB !" This is a tried & true way to fight, for boxer that has long arms and very fast speed: Ali, Vitali, RJJ, Floyd, and yes, Wilder. Fury can't pull it off, because his arms are slow. He's a counter-puncher's dream target. If you don't understand this, perhaps you'd be more comfortable posting in a knitting forum.
It's easy money, which he can support his sick daughter with. He himself knows deep down he's going nowhere.
Wilder combined opponent's records: 296-166-17 Personal record: 26(26)-0-0 Average opponents record: 11-6-1. Faced 6 opponents with more losses than wins. Boxed 45 rounds. Price combined opponent's records: 214-128-3 Personal record: 15(13)-0-0 Average opponents record: 14-9-0. Faced 4 opponents with more losses than wins. Boxed 39 rounds. Fury combined opponent's records: 331-154-14 Personal record: 20(14)-0-0. Average opponents record: 17-8-1. Faced 5 opponents with more loses than wins. Boxed 105 rounds. Just some numbers for you guys.
No Sconiers is arguably bigger bum than Pajkic (fought much better opposition though) but he hits much harder with 11 KO's out of 18 wins vs Pajkics 5 KO's out of 17 wins........ and you've got it 100% backwards. Fury was badly hurt and was getting beat around after that punch cause he still wasn't right, he held on and got pummeled around a bit after the KD by Pajkic, c'mon son and that fight was recent, not his 13th pro fight out of 27 like Wilders was vs Sconiers. WIlders was an off balnce flash KD, Fury's was a heavy fall from a right hand by a featherfisted gypsy.
