Hopkins v Cloud March 9

yeah hopkins is a freak.......

good match up, i think Hopkins has a better chance to beat Cloud than Cleverly, even though Cloud has 10 times the power of Clev.

 

Tough to call. Favoring Cloud at this moment.

 

wow. b hop can win this!! b hop gunna try n box his ears off hes gunna be able to land that right all nite. he will throw in a few dirty tactics but not much .

after watchin cloud vs campillo. its easy to outbox cloud and just dnt get to sluggin it out wit cloud and b hop knows that. b hop stamina should be good enuff to last him through 12 rds.

for cloud he has to try n get him outta there with a knockout. he better be relentless n try n get the 50 yr old outta there. just dont tire out in the process

 

Cloud is going to beat the **** out of this old man. I'm not trying to make Cloud into something he's not...but Hopkins is too old to be in with someone like Cloud. I mean I had to hear this same bull**** about Hopkins prior to the Dawson fight, men...Hopkins is 175 years old, he's ****ing finished. Cloud is a good infighter too, and Hopkins is going to have a tough time "tying" him up...bad fight for Hopkins, I see no way he wins this at this point in his career.

 

I think Cloud has the speed stamina and power to win

Well said and I agree but I'm picking Hopkins.

 

If I knew that Hopkins is going to be the same as he was against Pascal or even Dawson yes he would win without a doubt. But he looked very old in his rematch with Dawson and it's probably going to be worse for his fight with Cloud who is stylistically no match for Hopkins but hits damn hard which is very dangerous for a 48 old Hopkins

 

Hopkins can win this. Dawson was always going to be a difficult style match up for Hopkins. Cloud has good power but his fundamentals are unsound. He's the type of fighter with flaws Hopkins can exploit.

It would be epic if Hopkins laid out another Pavlik style boxing lesson!

 

Hopkins wasnted no part of Cleverly. He made the right move. Clev would of stopped him with a piston like attack to the head and body non stop.

 

the right move indeed, Hopkins has a chance to school Cloud here, but if anybody thinks cloud can beat cleverly they are dreaming.

 

The Hopkins of three years ago would have taken this, but now I'm not sure. He has slowed down to such an extent that his workrate just doesn't justify giving him rounds, and the Dawson fight sort of ended his mystique. He is, looks and fights like an old man.

Better for him to retire, although Cloud's defense is poor enough that Hopkins could find a way. I think he'll drop a wide decision, though. You can survive on smoke and mirrors for only so long.

 

This is an out and out duck of the Welsh warrior Nathan Cleverly, Hopkins is a disgrace.

 

Cleverly would have got it but he's worried about mandatories like Krasniqi atsch

I have a real bad feeling about this fight .

I didnt like How Hopkins performed against Dawson and Cloud is no featherfisted puncher .

Cloud is very likely going to be pressing for a knockout .
