yeah that is pretty good. I didn't even know what time it was on. I got home from playing basketball and turned on the TV and saw them announcing the cards

I think, but don't quote me on this, that it may be closer to 2 million.

De La Hoya is claiming on his Twitter that there will be a CBS Boxing show in the first quarter of next year during primetime.

Hell of a game leading into the card and an awesome introduction to Leo Santa Cruz.

Live programming is becoming more and more essential to networks. Advertisers want their ads to be seen, not skimmed over in a DVR. Boxing offers comparatively cheap live programming with plenty of slots for advertisements and needs wider exposure. This could be a great relationship.

Excellent! great matchmaking too! provided for an exciting fight. Obviously they can't afford the big guns for these shows so they gotta be smart like they were and continue to pick exciting fighters and make exciting style clashes in order to lure the casuals. If it's not Mayweather, Pacquaio, Klitschko then no casuals even know them or care so exciting fighters and exciting fights are whats most important even if they're not elite!

Big fights/Good fights on regular tv is the only way boxing will get back to the mainstream.

Adamek/Cunningham is a top fight and I'm pumped for those ratings honestly.

Steve Kim saying this 1.3 means that it had more viewers than any HBO or SHOWTIME event of 2012.,

Shows how powerful a major network is. Imagine if they do marquee names with lots of promotion.. huge ratings.
