Hell of a game leading into the card and an awesome introduction to Leo Santa Cruz. Live programming is becoming more and more essential to networks. Advertisers want their ads to be seen, not skimmed over in a DVR. Boxing offers comparatively cheap live programming with plenty of slots for advertisements and needs wider exposure. This could be a great relationship.

Obviously they can't afford the big guns for these shows so they gotta be smart like they were and continue to pick exciting fighters and make exciting style clashes in order to lure the casuals. If it's not Mayweather, Pacquaio, Klitschko then no casuals even know them or care so exciting fighters and exciting fights are whats most important even if they're not elite!
