then he comes back and now suddenly his legacy is not so good

It doesnt. Just to tards. Manny is now relying on a 5th fight with Marquez KO'ing Manny as the selling point. Floyd can fight Sergio, Cotto, Broner, Canelo etc and still make a **** ton of money more so than Manny who in reality has just Rios and JMM as options.(due mostly because people wont pay to see him fight Bradley a 2nd time and Manny wouldnt even take on a Berto or Victor Ortiz at this point because the risk is too great and Manny cant sell that much now that the casual fan sees him as a washed up fad which is essentially what he is)

im saying thats totally false, now i believe Floyd came out of retirement solely to face Manny so i think it hurts him a little that it hasnt happened

on the same token i dont think he is exactly the lone one at fault for the fight

But Manny and Floyd are already greats, HOF, and the 2 best of our generation

it sucks that they didnt fight when it made sense but neither guy relies on each other for their place in history

They're both at fault, and they both have claim to be ATGs without each other, but the looming question will always linger, just like Johnson and Langford, Dempsey and Greb, etc which is why it does influence what people remember about them.
