It would do ok Im sure but Froch has bigger fights on the horizon than a dust up with De Gale. De Gale needs a big year in 2013,he needs to break everyones top ten at the least.

He'll definitely want t fight Kessler, think he'd be happy to fight Bute again (probably big money for a fight he'd surely be confident in) and reckon he'd love to have a crack at Ward again. But as well know politics plays its part, as well as injuries, the schedule and matchmaking of others etc. Those fights aside, are there any that are much more meaningful for Froch than against Degale?

Not saying it should be his next fight, but give Degale a year or so and hopefully a couple of meaningful victories and then I reckon Froch would love to have a big domestic fight and also be able to say he gave an up and comer a chance (like Calzaghe never gave him). All very dependent on Degale getting a couple of meaningful wins though i guess!

Reckon a fully motivated Degale could be a tough nights work for Froch

He's better off going for Groves if he wants a domestic one

Nothing wrong with this fight IMO.

Degale is much better than people give him credit for.

Strange how Froch wont mention Groves but is mentioning DeGale. Also think a fight with either is a lose lose situation for Froch at this stage.

Froch has a bit of beef with De Gale since James refused to spar with him, whereas he is cool with Groves.

I'm sure he would only take a big domestic fight once he has taken care of bidness at the top.

It was always going to happen, Groves and DeGale both looking to step up in class and Carl is the main man at the moment. The fight(s) should happen in 2014 as Carl's final hurrah after he has faced Kessler and Bute IMO, hope he stays away from Ward.
