in the very sad looking last fight of jerry quarry's career he was definetly very ill

 

Ketchel was mentally ill, and so was another old Michigan fighter, Ad Wolgast, who spent the last decade of his life in a punk drunk stupor. He'd gone so off the rails he lived for a wildman in the forrest before he was brought back to an insane asylum, where he trained obsessively for a fight with Joe Gans, which he always believed would take place the following day. Of course Gans had died decades ago.

I can't think of any other specific ones, although plenty of guys were obviously crazy. I'm guessing Golota qualified for some kind of anxiety disorder.

 

You have to be a little messed up in the head to be a worldclass fighter. Benny lynch had some obvious underlying mental health issues at the end of his life, guessing depression as he drank himself to death an didnt eat. We could go all day

I think if they tested Jake Lamotta and John L. today they would probably be diagnosed with psychopathic personality disorder.

I wouldn't be suprised if Rocky Marciano had OCD.
