Why doesn’t Mayweather get credit for calling Manny out on May 5th?

Sergio's opinion a while back. Also predicted Pacquiao's destiny:

I notice nobody bothered to respond to this post...

Mayweather used Pacquiao's name to promote his May 5th fight, nothing more, nothing less. What came of that public calling out was a joke $40m flat fee offer and Arum throwing in his politics with GBP.

If memory serves me correctrly, ODLH had just recently left TR ,so Arum was bitter and didnt want to do business with him anymore (as Floyd was still under TR at the time).

Which is exactly why he didnt let Manny fight Floyd.

May 5th might be too soon as Pac can't fight for 120 days and no contact for 90. That makes him available in time for the fight and maybe just in time for training. If they can make it happen why not. It's lost it's appeal though. So don't see it happening in May

  10. Well, macho_grande, actions speak louder than words. And over the years it's become clear that Floyd has a lot of words. So he doesn't get any credit because it's all bluster and hot wind, with very little follow through. His failure to follow through with his promotion commitments with 50 Cent certainly bears this out.

  11. Here, let me.

Vidic, I have to agree, it appears the OP is saying he made concrete, public attempts to fight Pac. However, I would say that the OP's assertions are false. Therefore, it would be recognising a falsehood to agree any further.
