i say martinez just due to his style and his age. sooner or later hes going to need to fight some people at 168 because i doubt anyone in 154 wants him canelo included

If Mayweather gets hold of Marquez again then I could definitely see Marquez losing that (massive Marquez fan, just cant see him beating Floyd.) Other than that I don't really see any of those guys losing in 2013.

GGG gets no part of Sergio anytime soon.
(Unfortunately Maravilla's age might DQ Golovkin from a fight)

Murray & Chavez II up next for Martinez.

Without ranking them, I think your top 5 is unarguable by anyone who knows boxing.

I agree it will probably be Martinez because of the reasons Keitaro2187 mentions. Martinez will probably fight better opposition before any of the others do.

Marquez, he is OLD and he isn't motivated to fight anybody but Pac that hard. What weight would he fight at? He looked terrible in this fight except the two killer shots.

He's not an unbeatable monster in the head to head sense, he's just really got one great fighter's number to a tee and can find a way to pull it out from Pac even when he's getting crucified.

We will see if Martinez is the same after his knee, he uses his legs SO much.

    ^Valid points.

Out of the top 5 tho I think Marquez has the available opponents to raise up a couple spots. For instance a fight & possible win against Bradley could boost JMM from say #5 to as high as 2-3.
^Obviously that's my opinion on what Juan's next move should be.

  12. Martinez vs Freddie Roach is a mismatch. :yep

As for who loses next, I would say Marquez is in the most danger as he will look to a rematch with Pacquiao.

Donaire will test himself but I think he will beat Rigondeaux and Mares without too much trouble.

Martinez should beat Murray and Chavez again bur his time at the top is coming to an end.

Same goes for Mayweather who's diet this year will consist of Guerrero and Alvarez IMO

Nobody is beating Ward anytime soon, he will probably go through Pavlik, then target either Pascal (if he beats Dawson), Cloud (if he beats Hopkins), the winner of Bute-Froch 2, Nathan Cleverly or Beibut Shemenov- Ward beats them all.

of the poll options- between 1, 3, and 5 all due to age and some young gun possibly picking it up

of them, I chose Marquez because the man has eat, slept, breathed Pacquiao for 3 years, I don't even know how he will fare against the other elite competition at that age

    pretty close though

Mayweather due to inactivity, Martinez for taking on the best challenges
