Mares has dealt with many styles and has shown the ability to adjust to them....If you think Abner is just gonna be coming foward towards Nonito like some crude slugger, then you are badly mistaken.


With that being said, Donaire would still be the favorite here, his combination of speed, power and size will be a nightmare to deal with, but it wont be a walk in the park with Mares.

why is this news just coming out now? Its been a couple of days since the fight. why not release the news right after it happened? It seems to me that theyre already trying to hype the fight... and this morning i read from a pinoy news source that arum is looking at march 2013 for this fight.

mares isnt completely without skill but he's a swarmer....he's not gonna outbox donaire from the outside and good luck doing that with donaire's power...

 

I wouldnt be surprise if all rigo will do is just run to survive vs donaire. If rigo has power as most cuban bandwagon fans keep saying then Rigo should slug it out with donaire and see what happens but i doubt rigo will do that.

Let me explain this to you, when a boxer has the ability and skills to hit without getting hit why will he slug it out?... If you're expecting Rios vs Alvarado then you picked the wrong fight. Don't expect Nonito to be careless and getting hit as much as he did against Vasquez and mathebula , It's gonna be a technical match.
