You are comparing a 127 division guy to to a 140 pound division guy, also we haven't seen many fights of Gary Jr yet

Yeah, I'm curious as to why Khan looked so damn fast putting his shots together compared to past dominant victories. It was unreal at times.

One minute you guys think he is a bum with overrated speed and nothing else, one bad fight from retirement, next after a handpicked tune up he is the next world p4p no1 with the fasted hands in the world ever

After Peterson he was exposed as a hype job, until Peterson tests positive then he is no1 up and coming who was robed

    Make your mind up

Maybe this time he allowed himself to be more relaxed? Usually he's really nervous and tense; burning more energy when throwing and killing his stamina after 6 or so rounds. Molina allowed Khan to pace himself and save his energy with short bursts of twos and threes instead of continuous fives and sixes whilst running/bouncing around.

His hand speed is ridiculous, it's insane. i like his new style too. He's taking his time moving around instead of leaping in and out fighting like a roach boxer.

Khans "speed" reminds me of this! No technique just short taps. Zabs a lot faster

I've seen Khan train in person at Wildcard.

Lemme say...NEVER seen someone as relentlessly fast of handspeed...

Well yes I am. RJJ in his prime is was faster than Khan is now and he fought at 160/168 for the most part so whats your point.

Also, I have seen plenty of Gary's fights, so I can confidently say that he is faster than Khan.

Regardless of the positive test from Peterson, in that fight he showed that he hsa serious flaws to sya he is on Mayweather's level (b/c leading up to that fight all he talked about was fighting Floyd)

And I have said on here previously, I thought pre Peterson/Garcia, Khan would give Floyd a run for his money. I was obviously wrong.

As others have said, it's because he compromises punching technique that he can throw those quick arm punches. He's always been more concerned with looking good than actually being good.

    Generally spot on.

When people get done wanking over Khan's handpseed, they (if of course they have a brain) slowly realize that he does not have much head or upper body movement nor does he hit with enough concussive force to keep folks honest.

In short, he's not hard to time and then hit nor does he hit hard enough to dissuade pressure fighters from bringing it.

Guys like Rios and Lucas Matt.-- fighters with pop who don't mind getting hit and getting into a real punch-up-- will walk this kid down in the middle rounds and stretch him.

True. There was one 5-6 combination towards the end of the fight that was just blinding. Relaxation definitely helps your chain of movement.
