Yes, he's fighting May 4th. It'll be one or the other.

Cinco de Mayo v a mexican fighter makes sense.
GBP has stated that Alvarez will be fighting on the same date.
Floyd v Alvarez is a good fight. But do GBP want either to get a loss and I can't see them wanting to do two cards on the same night as won't want to compete with themselves for PPV. The other scenario could be Alvarez on the undercard. But being cinco de mayo weekend he can be the main event and make sales himself/ Previously it would have been cotto but he lost. Can they still sell that fight, probably a mexican v a puerto rican

I like the split site PPV theory.
Have Mayweather Vs. Guerrero in Vegas.
Alvarez Vs. Cotto/[Insert] in LA (Staples)
Add 2 more fights one for each venue.

Sets up a possible Alvarez/Mayweather in Sept.
(& Also keeps Alvarez out on the building to jinx Floyd)

How will they split the PPV money. Both Mayweather and Alvarez can command sales in their own right. For fans it makes sense, but unfortunately may not be something GBP want to do from a business angle

No chance Mayweather will fight Gurrera. The guy is a killer and FOTY. It will be another duck job.

If they offered Alvarez a guaranteed amount which is higher then his current sales to date. Floyd was happy with that fee it could happen.

    or

If they can sign an agreement for a Alvarez v Floyd fight should they both win and agree a percentage upfront of the future sales of that fight and use this as a feeder to promote it. There maybe a way to negotiate a deal

And once the fight is over (and guerero got his ass kicked) it was another cherrypick for Money

I disagree with that, Anyone Mayweather beats from this point is no Cherry pick.
(IF the opponent is @the level Guererro is fighting)

Mayweather is on his last run, He should get props for fighting these bucks.

And he wouldn't be favored in which fight -- against a 170 lb Martinez (to his 150)?
