I put no Top Rank guys or Martinez because those fights simply would never happen with the limited time Mayweather Jr. Has left.

    I voted Guerrerro BTW.

Is it just me, or does anyone else not mind watching mismatches (beat downs)? I still get excited for fights even when i know one guy is going to and is supposed to outclass the other? I.E. Mayweather - Gatti , Pac - Clottey, Most of Roy Jones fights, and I am sure it Some of Tyson's earlier fights (but I was too young)

Obviously it is always great to anticipate a good fight in which you expect the elite fighters to be tested, but sometimes I like to anticipate getting to watch one of the elite show off his skills.

Unacceptable because they're mismatches, no matter how great they are p4p.

Between size and skill, Mayweather is too much for them. (as we already saw with Marquez and as I've long surmised against Pacquiao...that never really intrigued me the way it did everyone else. It was always a mismatch...)

I say that because although the Guerrero fight would be a mismatch I would still love to see Mayweather get to show off a bit against him.

That being said, at this point in his career and with how infrequently he is fighting, it would be great if Mayweather actually started to step up and fight the best. It would really help his resume/legacy.

How are they anymore mismatches than a potential fight with Guerrero would be?

Because Guerrero started as a featherweight and has worked his way up into a fairly solid natural-looking welter.

Pacquiao and Marquez have over the course of much longer campaigns blown up to 147 from all the way down at strawweight in the former's case and featherweight for a decade and a half Marquez. (Guerrero by contrast moved up to super feather at age 26, and has climbed one division every year since)

They're also in their thirties and veterans of many wars, so while Guerrero may not be on their level p4p from their primes or even a few years ago - he is much fresher at 29.

guerrero is pretty smart in the ring, but not smarter than may. His hand-speed is very bad, so i think it would be a mismatch. Trout vs May - boring fight, but it would be kinda intriguing - who will win by decision? Canelo vs May - dreamfight.

The one thing we have to consider is Floyd himself.
On paper the Mayweather of the past would beat most on that list w/ease.

But this ain't the same Floyd.
    Just sayin'

i still want Pac, as i beieve he's still the only person at 147 that can beat him.

Who cares that he got ko'd, if nything the rounds before showed that he still got it.

If he fights with that intensity i think he beats floyd at this stage of his career.

It should be Martinez, Trout, JMM or Lara! If it's anyone else it's a bull**** fight!
