They don't even see the irony :rofl:rofl

Ward has already trashed Calzaghe's terrible resume.

I call Ward a stay-at-home fighter, but I also call Calzaghe a stay-at-home fighter, because that's what they are. Calling them stay-at-home fighters in no way means that either of them are, or were in Calzaghe's case, bad boxers.

And I dont see Ward's resume as so superior to Calzaghe's anyway that you fanboys and Calzaghe-haters can keep bragging about it. Froch isn't better than Eubank. Kessler and Bika weren't better against Ward than they were against Calzaghe. Abraham, Green, Buchanan, Ravelo, Miranda and Camou are not a better class of fighter than Lacy, Reid, Woodhall, Brewer, Mitchell or Veit, and Dawson is not a better scalp for Ward than Hopkins was for Calzaghe because Ward got Dawson to drop down to his weight rather than going up to Dawson's - that's not to say it wasn't a good win for him just that it would have been a better one if he'd moved up to take on the No.1 Light Heavyweight like Calzaghe did against Hopkins.

Give Ward two or three years and if he continues to fight the top fighters in and around his division and beat them then I'll concede his resume as being superior to Calzaghe's but right now I simply do not see it.

both should be labelled as stay at home fighters, only ward still has time to show that he isn't.. failure of a thread that has been done to death.

Calzaghe barely ever fought in Wales.

Can you pls. go check how many times Calzaghe fought in Wales, and compare the home % with Ward?

is true but he still mostly fought in the uk.. Just like ward fans claiming that he travelled when fighting in Atlantic city this logic don't stand up imo

Calzaghe fought out of his home Country all the time. It's quite different.

Slyk is a little ****** who likes to make troll threads to bait British fans:

He also has a strange fascination with Calzaghe

At least try and be original, I think we've already had this thread 100 times before in the last few months

The amount Ward has achieved in his career thus far is remarkable, but he has beaten Calzaghe's yet, I think he very well could and I do hope some new talent appears to give him the chance, that way it'll be an obvious answer not just answered by bias.

Ward fights in his home town more often than Calzaghe did, also I might be wrong but Ward has yet to leave America, he very well might in the future though

Ward has a far better resume than Calzaghe and they are both stay at home fighters.

Theres not many fights that can't be made in the US, considering thats generally where
the money is - so Ward probably only needs to go as far as Las Vegas.

It's a shame Calzaghe didn't venture away from home earlier as he had the tools and talent to be an ATG.

Americans cant seem to grasp that everywhere else is not the same as the US. Wales is one country, England is one country, America is one country. Why is this so hard to grasp ?
