    Very interesting

"We were surprised because the fist strikes were not more forceful than the strikes with the palm. In terms of the work on the bag there is really no difference."

    Slappers can hit too!

    Calzaghe fans rejoice!

 I say it to people who say about Calzaghe and DeGale's punch technique. It must hit pretty hard cos it drops opponents.

I would still advise and from my POV punch with the fist but interesting stuff there .

Its basically saying though that humans have been striking with a clenched fist for 1000s of years. Its in our DNA.

    Take that MMA:rasta

Slappers have been slapping since day 1. You only have to go up town on any given night, out in force they are, alcohol fueled, handbags in hand, slaps flying all over the place.

This **** has been going on for millions of years, the wenches could take out dinosaurs, if they worked together they became like a pack of wolves. The dinosaurs just ran away. F*ck this huge asteroid/comet theory, it was the slappers!!!

Mate fighting has been in our blood forever, if it wasnt.....we wouldnt be here.

We've had to fight for our lives and our survival, there was a time when we didnt have an air rifle at hand, we just had to hunt and take that sh*t down. Before we started creating hunting weaponry, we had to use our hands, strength, imagination and team work. So I'd say the study is pretty self explanatory, tell us something we dont know!

While I dont particularly like MMA for what it has become, I'd say there are plenty of techniques that were used to take a wild hog down.

    Quadruple leg takedown.

I unfortunately knocked a few people out on the door with slaps. They can be brutal.

The total force might be the same, but did they measure the force per inch too? It's almost impossible to KO someone with a bitchslap, but when you put the same force behind it with one or two knuckles connecting it's quite a different story.

It's like the scientific fact a pound of feathers weighs the exact same amount as a pound of lead. The difference is the impact both make when they connect to your head.

No its not. Its nothing to do with force per square inch.
