Mikkel Kessler... So many fights and he is still here.. Future HOF!!!!

I dont now much about him though. Back to Kessler: Not IBHOF IMO(yet at least) needs to beat Ward or/and win titles at 175 at least. Great fighter? Of course he is. Danish HOF? Of course. Maybe the best. Tom Bogs was very good too.

Unfortunately. The losses he has on his record are nothing to be ashamed about.

He and Froch will have very similar legacies when it comes time to retire.

Then what about Thomas Hearns? He also lost every time he faced the best!
Besides that I have seen lots of rematches where the picture have changed. I really hope your scared hero finds the passport and come to Denmark and get KO'd. If Kessler is overrated what is Ward then??:bbb

 

Very good fighter but definitely not HOF yet and it doesn't look like he's planning to go there either. All Kessler has done after escaping the supersix with a "career ending" injury is return to fight carefully selected bums. His biggest win(s) are Froch and Andrade, besides those two there aren't enough to brag about. Not to forget that this is the Hall of FAME we're discussing and Kessler is almost unknown to the majority of casuals, except the desperate ones from England.

Gatti is famous, that's how he made it in the HOF. Hearns is an ATG and famous. Kessler is unknown.

Hearns lost to the great: Hagler and SRL but won over an old overweight Duran.
Kessler lost to the great Calzaghe and Ward but won over Froch.
The old fighters where great but who would win in these matchups?
