Groves, Price or Cleverly?

Who will have the most impact in there respective divisions?

Three fantastic british prospects, but who do u think will ultimately go onto be the more succesful fighter?

WK or Ward don't look to be going anywhere anytime soon and i don't see either of those getting beat (especially by fighters who are still a little green) Although Price has some serious power! Cleverely can benefit from a division that has been in flux for sometime, he clearly has the goods to operate at world level! George Groves just used Glen Johnson as a punchbag and is without doubt a top SMW in the making, in fact i think if he had got to Stieglitz before Abraham he would have been WBO champ at only 15-0! Groves, Price or Cleverly?

David Price - crazy size for the heavyweight division and absurd punching power. The division being really mediocre, aside from the Klitschko's and maybe Haye on a good night, helps his case. Just hope his chin holds up.

Groves if he keeps his attitude and will to improve by fighting in America and sparring against the elite will be the best.

They are three VERY good prospects. You brits should be proud.

Price will one day take over from Haye as best UK HW (unless Fury disagrees).

Groves will take over after Froch one day.

Cleverly already is best british CW.

 

Price: reason.. Fights in the HW division (wich always gets attention, even when bad) and is actually exciting in the ring.

Groves is fighting in the wrong division (too strong for him), would fair better as a LHW probably.

Cleverly is fighting in one of the weakest divisions in boxing to date and still would get beaten if he really fights a legitimate opponent. not much hope there, unless the WBO keeps letting him fight stiffs and gets hyped by the British fans for some reason.

price is to undertested and i cant answer how good he is yet..

Doubt it. His win over Bellew is increasing in stock, Cloud is pretty one dimensional, Pascal is a tough ask! Shumenov, Campillo, he would beat those! What's Dawson got left? Hopkins? Cleverlys style will have Hopkins stinking the place out! I think on talent alone he's top 5.

He needs to get that big fight pronto though! I have a good feeling about the welsh wonder. Freddie Roach recently sung Cleverlys praise too.

I think u are all wrong about Cleverely, just my opinion but im sticking to it.

 

Price -awkward and ponderous but will always have a punchers chance.Can easily be outhustled.
Groves-forget it.His dismal victory over the aged Johnson proved to me he is nowhere near the elite level.
Cleverly-talented and skilled but unwilling to fight an elite LH.Perhaps Frankie knows something we don't.He is the best of the mediocre lot.

 

He won nearly every round what more can he do? Plus he dropped him and the ref was close to stopping it at at one point too! At 15-0 he did better than Froch did ffs! Johnson at this stage of his career is still a stern test for most and Groves past it easily. Someone like i.e Dirrell would have just ran from Johnson all night winning a wide and dismal UD too!

Degale ran out of ideas against him, he was also the first to stop Adamu and the way in which he dispatched Smith was impressive too!

Groves at 16-0 is a work in progress but he's already touching world class level, he would certainly have beaten Stieglitz for the WBO belt.

 

Cleverly shouldn't even get a mention next to Groves & Price tbh. I like Price out of the 3, although all of them show flaws that worry me and will be their undoing at the highest level...

I think we've got better prospects.

 

Frankie Gavin?

 

All three look great and the majority of those who trash them are American.

Price is a giant HW with great power, however fury shouldn't be overlooked either.

Cleverly is already a world champ so is past the prospect stage, I can see him mixing it up with the best of the division

Groves is still a couple of years in the making. Give him until 2014-2015 and he'll be a top level fighter.

Oh yeah and the moron who said he had a poor fight against Johnson just got to ask a) did you watch the fight and b) are you a moron
