On the other hand, Kessler was half-blind in one eye for their first fight, and supposedly his vision is all the way back, so that may have an impact too. I'll welcome the fight either way.
Thought Froch dominated the early part of the fight boxing behind his jab and using his length forcing Kessler to come forward and attack. When they got in close quarters Kessler was able to use his superior technique and speed
Cobraen skal nok få sin hævn! WAR COBRA!!! Ward could really learn something from them ( I don't need to do nothing. i'm the champ, well Kessler still came to your backyard while HE was the champ)
Sometimes, things go the right way. Bute needs another tune up fight. Froch wants to fight Kessler right away. What is better for boxing? Froch-Kessler, Bute-TBA and then, if Bute looks better than against Grachev, people will want to see a rematch. Bute wants the rematch badly and he lets Froch fight Kessler only because he can fight him afterwards. If that was not the case, Bute would have asked for the rematch to be in March. That's what his promoter said this week. That suits well with all three fighters agenda. I don't see any problem here.
Here is the poll from 2010 right after the fight: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=221365 236 vs 31 - 88 % vs 12 %. No reason to dispute the win for Kessler. I have a lot of respect for Froch. He is a very good fighter, and he has been willing to travel to make the big fights happen. To many fighters sit at home making easy defenses. The reason is obvious. Just look at Bute. He lost fair and square, but had he chosen to stay in Canada, he would still be considered a candidate for the best fighter in the division. Now the hype is gone, and he will struggle on his way back to the top. Froch has given us lots of good fights, and this on should be it as well. But noone was robbed the first time.
:rofl:rofl:roflatsch Sorry for a minute I thought you were being serious, you're one of the least original trolls on this site - right up there with 'The Pinoy' and Koman600
When have you ever seen Froch not mentally ready for a fight? This sounds like hear-say bull**** to me. He's a consummate professional who feels like you're taking food out his and his Missus' mouth by taking him on in a fight, motivation wont ever be a problem for him, least of all for a re-match he has been gagging for since the decision was announced in Denmark.
I think people are writing Kessler off, which is odd because he is in a better place now (both physically and mentally) than he was when he won the first! For those saying Froch won please give me 7 Froch rounds? LOL. Froch was outworked. Kessler - Total Thrown: 765, Total Connects: 147 (19%) Froch - Total Thrown: 546, Total Connects: 98 (18%)
I think Kessler wins again.. Froch is on his home turf and his confidence must be running high.. But Kessler's eyes should be okay again, and his accuracy also looks better now than what it did against Perdomo, Ward and Froch. Another thing is, he has now had 4 fights with Montaya, where Froch was his debut..
2 of my favourite fighters. Thought Bute was chasing the Froch rematch? Whilst Kessler and Froch are meeting, Bute and Ward could face off, with the winners meeting.
