canelo is an easier fight for more money. Canelo will fight cotto and mayweather will fight the ghost.

Guerrero has no chance against Floyd whatsoever

Guerrero would get brutalized by Canelo in a fight

Floyd-Guerrero is a crap match and it only shows Floyd is afraid of the ginger.

Or what's the excuse to avoid the most lucrative match available for him?

You guys give Floyd too much credit, dude will be 36 by then with multiple lay offs which only hurt him.
I agree that there is almost zero hype for this fight, I also agree that there is more hype for the canelo fight.
Aside from hype tho Guerrero has done more than canelo at this point to get the fight.
I also believe they are setting up a canelo fight for September.
Does anyone believe if they have some sort of contract drawn up stating that canelo and Floyd will fight in September if they both win then the may matches will be acceptable?

Yes, they would be in that case

but Mayweather only fights once every 18 months, what makes you think he'll fight TWICE per year now that he's getting old and visibly on the decline?

Nah, the May 4th will be his only fight of 2013 most probably, and if he picks Guerrero as his opponent it'll be major bull****

I agree if its his only fight it would be a let down.
I can admit that but as a fan of his I am curious at how much he has left and Guerrero is a "comfortable" fight to see that.
I'm kinda hoping tho that there is some kind of contract stating the winners will face off in september

Im sure Canelo and Mayweather are in for a collision course come Sept, I think GoldenBoy and Floyds team have decided that it's better for Canelo to improve his Marketability by putting in a big win on the same date so come September the fight gets the numbers it truely deserves.

    Neither.

Fight GGG or Martinez at 154.

Martinez would have made one of you a superstar a couple of years ago. Even the Pac fight would have (although personally I never found that that interesting).

Floyd is a good boxer, but his careful management of who he fights is pathetic.

Floyd better not look past The Ghost and set the Canelo fight in Sept. Beware the dreaded Canelo Jinx.

The Ghost is the better fight simply because he earned the right. He came up from the lighter weights fighting hard and he had his eye on Mayweather all the time. He is a legitimate 147lber and don't come in short. He can bang and he has tons of heart. He shouldn't be denied a shot. Canelo don't deserve ****. I don't give a **** about Canelo because he ain't payed no dues and the ***** don't wanna pay none. He is a bonafide 154lber and Trout called his ***** ass out and he tore up the exit door getting the **** outa there. I beleve he ducked Kirkland and he ain't trying to fight no legitimate 154lber. That's why he wanted Cotto cause Cotto is really a WW and he would have the advantage in speed, power, and youth. That's basically why haters want him to fight Mayweather, not because of his skills cause they know better, but because of his size, his power and his youth. They want Money to lose so bad that they will swing on any dick they think can win. That's some weak ass **** and it really ain't about boxing but player hatin. Let a player play.:bbb
