I think the weight adds to the intrigue of the fight. Will Adamek, being this heavy, be able to land the shots it takes to slow Cunningham down? Something tells me eventually he will, but it might be too late. Cunningham takes an early lead. The real drama starts around round six. Nice looking undercard fight. That one should steal the show.
USS's speed and reflexes aren't quite what they were 4 years ago and his power and chin are subpar even for CW so succussfully outboxing Tomasz seems the most unlikely outcome, not impossible, but getting hurt seems likely and Adamek is a very good finisher. Adamek's also slowed down and will have to revert back to his stalking pressure style from his CW days but it shouldn't be as much of a handicap compared to USS's.
Yep, that's Andrew Golota in the flesh Edit. Better quality weight in via ringpolska.pl [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEVz-_28RUM[/ame]
I'm just glad the guy with the significantly smaller frame is substantially heavier. That's just good practice. I feel Conn would've stopped Louis if he'd simply been heavier than Louis. But the dumbass was living on cabbage and potatoes and whatever the **** Irish people eat. I told him, I said "Billy, you can't eat so much cabbage. You'll be thin as a rail." and he said "Don't worry, Boxed. I'm barely eating any cabbage. This **** is awful and it gives me mountains of gas." and I said "That's not what I mean but never mind. You're foked, mate."
Adamek has no power at heavyweight, but Cunningham is literally a cruiserweight with **** whiskers so i'll go Adamek by a rare stoppage
Got to disagree with you BE. I know Adamek started at CW and when he moved up i never would have thought this but Adamek definitely has the bigger frame/bone structure. Compare him and USS forearms, arms, legs, waist, Tomasz is the naturally bigger man. Steve has a alot of muscle mass but still only weighs only 200lbs, reason, his frame can't carry more weight.
No doubt, Adamek is the man with the bigger frame. Cunningham is taller and is more cut, but has a skinnier frame and smaller bones. Adamek would be a natural HW in the 70s and 80s, but with the advent of the Super HWs, he comes of as undersized. Seems like a lot of people have Adamek as the fav in this fight. However, if Steve can utilize his incredible 7 inch reach advantage, especially with the jab, things could get very interesting.
Cunningham looks like a beast, despite what the scales read. Adamek looks pudgier than usual, needs to lay off the xmas pies.
