A lot of people seem dead-set against PPV and against having to pay any more for boxing, but if Eddie Hearn and Matchroom put on the following cards in 2013 on Sky Box Office would you feel comfortable paying for one, neither or both? Scenario One: Carl Froch v Mikkel Kessler Darren Barker v Matthew Macklin Plus an undercard featuring: Paul McCloskey Kal Yafai Erick Ochieng Scott Cardle John Ryder Scenario Two: Kell Brook v Devon Alexander Tony Bellew v Chad Dawson Undercard featuring: Carl Frampton Lee Purdy Gavin Rees Kal Yafai Yes or no?
I dont think Brook will be PPV simply cos its in America and its lot harder to sell a fighter starting at 4am. Also Alexander is a tough sell!!!
Honestly mate without sounding the **** i suggest you research the financial structure of a boxing card, because unless Eddie is prepared to run cards at a 7 figure loss there aint no way in hell them cards are getting made!
No. Put it in a football stadium and get your money from that, sponsorship, TV advertising etc It all goes way up for a big fight. Its disgusting how they want us to pay £15 to watch adverts. **** them.
PPV has to be the right fights to attract it and early hours in America doesnt do it for me anymore. That said hopefully i'll be able to get to both those fights anyway Froch v Kessler & Brook v Alexander.
Brainwashed society thats why. :tired Just look at them flocking to the shops like sheep, for commercial day on the 25th. Dont worry kids Satan is coming :scaredas: ....I mean Santa. People fantasize about a zombie outbreak.....we've already f*cking got one! WAKE UP! What? You tell me to pay? Me give you my paper? TAKE MY MONEY! TAKE IT ALLL!!!! WHY DO I WANT IT!!!!???!!! :tired Here let me bend over, let me pull down my trousers, here, come on, **** me, it dont matter what I think, its what you think Mr. Its funny because its true. Sadly.
You do sound a ****. Ain't it a hypothetical question? Anyway, **** PPV, terrestrial TV is the ONLY way to go.
