When Andrzej Gmitruk trained Adamek, he was better fighter. I can't understand why Adamek is still working with Bloodworth. ..

Why I thought he did pretty good. I had Adamek winning 116-112. It was a easy fight for Adamek it seemed. He was never hurt at any point in the fight.

    Hurt as in chicken legged?:think

No, Cunningham didn't show the kind of power those shots would typically do to a guy, but he rocked Adamek at least 6 times.

I had Adamek winning a narrow 1 point decision, but it couldve just as well gone to Cunningham by a point or 2.

Anyone scoring the fight 8-4 should rethink the way he's scoring or lay off the pathetic trolling attempts.:-(

Why Adamek should retire now? That was a good fight from both fighters. Cunningham is a type of boxer who would always give Adamek troubles. Lets see how Adamek can cope with Pulev. If Adamek loses against him fairly, then I agree. Otherwise, he is still in the game.

I had the fight 115-114 for Adamek (rounds: 1,2,5,8,11,12 for Adamek, 3,4,6,7,10 for USS and 9th round even). However I think that the most fair score would be a draw. Then a rematch would happen and maybe one fighter would win more decisively.

Btw, against lighter fighters (like Chambers and USS) Adamek's additinal pounds are his disadvantage, because he is slower and cant use the advantage in punching power to seriously hurt the opponent. Maybe against Cunningham, better for Adamek would be eating more jabs (like in the 1st fight) and then shortening the distance so he could land cleaner and shorter punches.

Weird, I thought Adamek won it by a round. Those NBC announcers DKSAB and were hugging Cunningham's nuts hard.

Because he wants to fight like an American fighter vs a Euro fighter? He said it himself in the interview tonight.

Its not about boxing styles, its about his weight! He can move his arms like he did at a lighter weight. Not only is he slower, but his punching technique is suffering. He looks terrible at times, winging punches like a windmill instead of good straight right hands.

No way Adamek won this fight. Cunningham caught him with numerous great right hands, & out-jabbed him. How many times did Tomasz land a decent right the whole fight?

Pulev is very light and quick on his feet and can jump into or pull out of range just as fast as USS imo. Combine that with being a SHW, very good chin and the stylistic similarities he shares with Vitali using a excellent jab delivered from his hip and very good reflex based defense it'll be a domination imo.

Why would he do that? He only lost to Vitali and his last 3 wins were over decent opponents.

Adamek landed actually a lot of decent right hands. Some decent left hooks, too. Still got out boxed handily, though.
