like him or not (I don't), yet the man is like one of the most athletic boxers around today.

he fast, got very good movemant, good reflexes, solid defence and punching power. what also a plus for him is his natural size. standing 5.7 with 71 reach and addition of some pounds he could easily physicly impose himself up to welterweight, probably even 154, since floyd's physic looked strong at 154 and adrien is similar to floyd in lots of ways.

he won't stay long at lightweight because either challenge or cash, there is not much to be done at that weight. how do you think he will end up in the next few year and how would matches him vs matthyse, garcia, marquez, brook, vargas end up?

    my take:

he beats anybody up to welterweight and gets clocked by brook, 154 is a no go for him, if he trys, guys like canelo or trout will TKO/KO him.

look. are we experts on esb or normal b oxing fans?

casual boxing no **** about boxing "yeah he got knocked the **** out"

experts have a tendeny to look what happens in the near future. sure nobody is perfect, but demarco fight convinced me that adrien has more than just normal talent, he is a spevial talent who will be able to do much,.

He's a big guy could be fun. By no means slick but one of the most athletic sluggers out there, fights with Ortiz, Rios, Matthysse, Berto etc could be entertaining. I think Paulie would probably tool him however.

He's not going to do too well when he meets someone bigger than him, very open at times and although his guard has been shown to be effective when used by the likes of Toney, Mayweather etc he hasn't got it nailed down. I think just the use of the guard is fooling people into thinking he's a top level defensive fighter. I see him more in the Mosley/Kirkland mould (not as athletic as Mosley but more so than Kirkland).

A good thing there aren't too many defensively tight guys with truly stiff jabs in the 135/147 range.

On another note, the guy has received a miracle with Hostess down the tubes.

One of my favorites, but I think he will top out at 140.

Don't see where people are coming up with this 154 stuff.

The large welters, even the large lww's(Garcia, Rios, etc) will be a test for him. Certainly not a given that he will beat them or Matthysse.

If he fights Matthysse he leaves the ring on a stretcher while one of the paramedics brushes his hair.

I think he should be fighting at 140 and will probably be there within one fight. Then it should get very interesting as he could match up against Rios, Lopez, Garcia and Khan.

The Demarco fight convinced me too. These up-comers always have a "transition," fight and where we see other stars like Linares, Khan, Juanma etc fall short, Broner absolutely dominated his fight, scoring 10-8 rounds with no knockdowns.

He's not got much to keep him busy at LW at the mo, his only competition is at WW or if Gamboa/Donaire step up to LW sometime soon.
