Checkout Pacquiao's left elbow go down to defend the shot he thought was going to his body.
Marquez had landed some heavy shots to Pacquiao's body that round and Marquez disguised his shot as if he was going down there again.

I like his analysis. He talks about Manny holding back to avoid being countered. Smart guy.

Appreciate the translation. Always good to hear a boxer giving a technical breakdown like this on what happened in the ring from their view.

Marquez mentioned that in rounds 5 and 6, Pacquiao did'nt go full out on him because he was throwing back just enough to keep Pacquiao honest.
There was some hesitation to Pacquiao's aggresiveness as Marquez was landing with hard counters and making Paquiao think twice coming in.

Most every sport has a channel striclty to cover it.
Boxing needs a 24 hr boxing channel. A channel to cover the sport in-depth.

There's lots of fighters that could serve as hosts and or analysts of said shows.

It would be great for after a big fight, the fighters have a sitdown to discuss what transpired during the fight.
It would be great to have Marquez and Pacquiao in studio together breaking down the fight and discussing who won which rounds and why.

Can you imagine the day or two before a big fight, the channel counting down to fight time and having guests analyzing and predicting the fights outcome???

Different fighter and trainer reactions from across the board to the big fight happenings.

Boxing needs it, and with it maybe more fans would come because of it.

At one point some time ago, Don King talked about it but it never came about.

I hear you man. There are rare occassion that a good poster translates the fighter's native tongue into English, and there are rare fighters giving technical, in-depth analyses of the fight he was at.

Either Bogotazo is Marquez or Bogo is just married to Juan. Keep it up mother****ers:good

    :lol::rofl

He gave him credit numerous times for hurting him, I'm sure he gives himself more credit in terms of rounds since he's recounting the fight from his perspective, and yes, he was chopping away at Pacquiao's body, and later, his head with overhand right setups similar to the one that eventually put him down.

    :conf

Agreed on all points. The playing field might be more leveled a second time around with Floyd; unlikely but not the least appetizing idea. Manny against Floyd looking like that would also be good. Whatever he decides I'm sure he'll make the right decision.

When he says it's the same shot since 2004, he wasn't kidding.

bogo giving fans the joy it is to hear marquez speak, they are not able to understand the great words that come out of JMM in very exquisite spanish but with BOGO that dream is realized. Marquez is an intelligent man.

    Thanks BOGO

I'm guessing that's meant to be moving at 900 degrees a second I.e. If contact was somehow applied for a full second instead of the split second it actually was then his head would turn 900 degrees, that's how fast his head was moving.
