Apparently this is in the pipeline for the end of February. I personally think it would an awesome fight - a war. I would favour Chisora on points if it is in the UK and Charr on points if it is on his home turf. How do you see it, should it happen?
I can't see this fight happening in the UK. Chisora has no fanbase and no casuals have heard of Manuel Charr. Who they gonna sell the tickets too?
If it happens on the continent, Charr wins by points, Chis wil be robbed. He's anyone seen Airich vs Charr last night? Eddie Hearn tweeted a video.
Chisora decision. I think he's underrated. I see him out working and fighting Charr, don't think he'll get the stoppage though. Charr seems like a tough guy.
Charr is very average, but then so is Chisora. Dereck has some of the worst punch technique i've ever seen. It's like no one taught him how to throw punches. Chisora has been so rushed in his career it's ridiculous. He really hasn't learnt how to box that well. It's a credit to his will and fighting instincts that he's been so competitive in big fights, but that's really all he has. We'll have to see how he recovers from that brutal knockout he suffered at the hands of Haye. If he has i think he decisions Charr, but put it this way, i would never bet on Chisora in a competitive fight.
Chisora will be in the unusual position of being the 'good guy' in this fight. I think people might be surprised at the fanbase he now has. So long as he pulled some standard Del Boy stunts in the build up to a fight, I think he could pack out 8,000 seats in the UK :good
Right now Im just kicking back. I start training camp in January and I got a fight in February, then Spring time were going for another big title". :-( Surely he'll need a longer camp than that after so long off?!
Charr might be too much for Chisora. I give credit for him being quite humble about his defeat. I think Derek should go back to the domestic scene, and get himself a winnable fight before stepping up again.
