If he isnt a natural light middle why push to fight for a title at the weight above that. If its for the middleweight title 160 should be the limit.

People want Floyd to lose so much they say he's a coward for not fighting people 2 weight divisions above him. Floyd is a 147 fighter (I bet he could still make 140 if he ever wanted too), he's fought at 154 twice in his career.

Martinez hasn't fought anybody at 154 for 4 years but yeah let's call for the match up. While we're at it lets call Bernard Hopkins straight ***** for not going up to Heavyweight and taking on David Haye.

Thread starter is clearly a raging ***** with an agenda. Most people on here responding seriously are too stupid to realize it.

We have weight classes for a reason people.

If these 2 are going to fight, then it has to be at 154, nothing more, nothing less.

It’s worth noting however that Martinez has made 154 in over 4 years I believe. Asking a 37 year-old to lose any amount of additional weight is a big ask in my opinion.

Out of curiosity what does Martinez weigh come fight night at 160?

Conceivably we could see a 10lbs weight difference at fight night if these 2 ever met. ****ing ridiculous if you ask me.

154 if Martinez can make it. If he can't and will be drained then there's not much point in discussing this fight

Floyd has never weighed more than 151 for a fight at 154 an yet he should fight at 160? No. Martinez isn't willing to move up one weight class so why should his opponent move up two? They should meet in the middle at 154.

Sort of like how Pac won a title @ 154 by fighting at 150
