If they go for V, and Pacquiao wins, we'll be on here talking about Pac-JMM VI. Just leave it be. Marquez has absolutely NOTHING to prove against Pacquiao. Nothing. Unless it's purely for a big payday, there is no point in him taking that fight.

 

Marquez fought the same fight as he's always done against Pac, backing up.

 

I disagree, if he got dominated I would, but he didn't. That's why it's such a intriguing match up.

I can understand though if they both decide to retire.

 

Marquez is so overrated is not even funny. He has only two guys on his record worth a damn and he lost to one of those. Barrera and Manny. That is it. He basically did nothing but wait for Manny and took a bunch of easy fights in between. Struggled with shot Barrera, shot Casamayor, and freaking Juan Diaz beat him up and had him badly hurt before he knocked him out and even Katsidis knocked his ass down. I bet Pac would do better against each and every one of those guys. He lost to Chris John too lol. He KTFO Pac, I give him that, he's a very good fighter, but HE, not Pac, is by far the most overrated fighter of this era.

 

For real, that **** was NOT toe to toe.

JMM KFTO both DIaz and Pac. He KTFO of Pac in 6 rounds and pretty much
schooled him for the majority of the 36 rounds before the 4th fight. Diaz actually did better than Pac.
