Which of these guys, do you think, is the best fighter to make a normal person take notice of boxing?

Keep in mind I have tried them all, and one of them worked more times than most others, what do you think?

Jackson would be a hard sell, I think.

''Oh yeah, when's he going to fight someone that doesn't fall over'' would be the general sentiments.

Hatton would be easy.... ''****ing go on lad''

Hamed.... ''I hope he gets killed in his next fight''

    Freitas, not sure.

Do you want to know who got the most positive response in my little experiment?

and to be honest Beeston, the reaction to Jacksons fights wasn't so much, "those guys are going down too easy" as much as it was "holy ****, did he ever wake up after that?"

I would go for Hamed. The entrances, the show-boating, the brutal KOs. Casual fans love that ****.

Gatti is always a certifiable mention, even my ma loves him, but its out of these four that I did the test, so think carefully

Casuals get g'd up for Hatton fights, but they are rarely great watches. Hamed fights are.

interestingly, out of roughly 30 friends and family, this man got the most praise as the best fighter to watch, with a whopping one vote on this poll, the winner is:

to be fair to the other contenders, I think some of the females liked this guy for reasons besides his boxing too

    Interesting.

You'd never get bored watching Jackson, that's for sure.

Some of Hatton's fights were amongst the most boring of all time. Vilches might have been the worst, whilst Urango wasn't far behind.

If I'd paid a fortune to go to Vegas I'd have written to the bloke asking for my money back. If he wanted to cuddle a bloke I'm sure he could have found a gay bar in Manchester and a willing victim.

Meanwhile some other fights were must-see. All depends on the night with him, I guess.

The wrong Hatton fight could certainly turn a casual off, like you say it all depended not only on the night but the opponents style. get someone who would allow Hatton to work on the inside and you can get a lot of oohs and ahhs, get someone who knows how to spoil that work and you're in for a painful one.

I'm really surprised Hatton has got more votes than Jackson and Freitas

    Hatton, ofcourse

    Arturo Gatti
    Greg Haugan
    Duran
    Hearns
    Graziano

these 'fighter' types are always going to please the casual fan, then if hooked they would begin to appreciate the boxing scientist.
