An obvious choice, despite the fact that there were some really impressive KO's this year.

    Was there ever a doubt?

Crazy how Pac went from being the p4p number 1 to being the KO of the year. I always felt he would go down like RJJ Jr. His style was purely physical and once that starts going the way down is steep.

Well both had technical skill, they were merely unconventional and had their flawsl. But of course, a fighter with those gifts always transition harder. Though Manny looked better than he had in years before that shot.

    Is that the KO punch?

Or just any other landed shot during the fight?

Apparently the formula is fight a lot guys you are supposed to blow out. JMM was the underdog so he was ruled out immediately.

First of, it's mean as **** to praise punches in the face of great men like Pacquaio, and secondly, Marquez was stepping on Pac's foot so that Pac couldn't dodge. Marquez was getting desperate and coughing blood.

No *******, Pacquiao stepped on Marquez' foot when he got KTFO!

Though not step on a master's foot or you will get KTFO!

The less movement a fighter offers, the more comfortable Pacquiao becomes in his power output.

Pacquiao landing a better % of his power shots in comparison to the previous three imo has more to do with Marquez willing to plant his feet more and drive with power of his own.
That alone opens the avenue for Pacquiao to have a chance to compete.

My point being is that the Pacquiao of fight 4 was basically the same fighter who fought Marquez in fight 3 and then Bradley in fight 4.
The difference being the foot mobility Marquez and Bradley offered prior.
