Redemption or bust for Mayhem. If he loses, it's back to football (maybe semi-pro) or call it an athletic career.
If Mitchell can't get past Banks, there's no reason to continue fighting. The term "career defining" gets thrown around a lot in boxing, but in this case it fits.
Really good fight for Banks imo. Obviously there is still some danger but he already knows he can beat him and if he does, imo it takes him closer to a title shot.
Good on Mitchell for wanting to "get right back on the horse" if you will. I understand and applaud the fight and I'll be rooting for Banks to pull the KO again... It's nice because this time I won't have the "Mitchell will easily KO this guy" attitude going into this one and I'll look forward to it much more.
Credit to Seth for trying to right a wrong but if he or his fans have not learned by now...he just doesnt have "it". He simply started too late in life and someone who is a life long boxer(doesnt have to be all that good)will always exploit that.
I hope mitchell can improve on things. He seems like a cool ass dude. I know how it is to have injuries throw out some of your dreams.
The first fight between them was made because Banks was suppose to be a "lesser opponent" that Mitchell was suppose to dominate so HBO can hype him up further, anything less than Mitchell would be too less I guess.
