    I think Madison Square Garden ( N.Y ) is the ideal venue. Bute should get used to fight in foreign places.

    I almost forgot ! What purse should have/deserve Pavlik since 1.5 mil $ are peanuts for him ? :think

    Agree that in Canada this fight would draw more audience and money but if Bute wants to prove thats a real champ , he should travel more. Going abroad and fight will make u to be a tougher fighter. :yep

    Very simple - if Pavlik wants to fight Bute, Pavlik just has to show up where ever he is told.............

    Let's work it out. :hat

    The average price for a pint in his hometown must be around, let's say 2$.

    600 000 / 2 = 300 000

    That means this purse will give him the right to expect 300 000 pints in his local bar.

    Pavlik is 30 yo and let's say he can expect to make it to 80 yo.

    50 * 365 = 18250 => Pavlik still has 18 250 days to live.

    300 000 / 18250 = 16.44 => That purse will allow Pavlik to drink 16.44 pints/a day for the rest of his life. That seems a little bit low for his standards. I say he'll call this offer "peanuts" again. :-(

    Bute has learned his lesson on fighting abroad.Without the local assistance of his fellow officials and his next door neighbour(the referee Marlon Wright)-Bute struggles against the rehabbing Pavlik.

    Neither since N.Y. probably means a home fight for Bute. Neither has done anything over the past few years to warrant demanding home court here. Kelly has been a wreck and has pulled out more than a pornstar and Bute hasnt done anything either other than get left for dead the only time he's fought a top guy and fight some of Kelly's leftovers. Kelly hasn't done anything to prove he's anywhere near the fighter he was and Bute has done nothing to prove he's anything other than total hype job.

    It should be a co main event somewhere else. I don't care where.

    :lol: I refuse to think that Bute would struggle against Pavlik . I mean Pavlik is not anymore the fighter that beat Taylor and gave a hard fight to Martinez.
