You're right when you're saying that Lemieux can only do one thing and it's to bang. I don't know Torres and if his chin can take Lemieux's bombs but if it goes past the fourth round, his chance of winning the fight will be better and better from round to round. Lemieux will never be the most tactical boxer and he has to go with is #1 strengh, which is to bang. A good tactical boxer will beat him most of the time or a guy that has a rock solid chin that can weather the storm to let Lemieux exhaust himself (as Rubio did) should win against Lemieux. I'll have to watch Torres to make myself a clear idea of who he is. One thing though, I wouldn't want to bang and exhange bombs with Lemieux to be honest. Not so sure this is the right game plan...
Where have you seen the official cards printed for Feldman, Hary & Sammartino? How much was he ahead? The unofficial scorer on the American TV broadcast had it 49-46 for Torres at the time of the KO. :conf People can score for themselves. [yt]Iz191s0kGKk[/yt] [yt]S-JTgG1ZCiw[/yt] [KO junkies, skip to 7:20 of video #2] Torres has a strong chin and is tough to consistently land anything clean on (even for a guy like Majewski who's a softer hitter than Lemieux but much busier and more precise) and can really crack. He's also just a very rough and physical fighter once he gets inside, borderline dirty. IMO, unless he learns some new tricks, Lemieux is doomed.
Sweet. Glad to see FNF back on the air. I'm looking forward to seeing how a full season of the ESPN/HBO arrangement plays out. As far as the cards, there are some nice matchups, a few decent names, and some prospects. In short, everything FNF is designed to be.
Interested in Rances Barthelemy/ Arash Usmanee. The Cuban is very decent. Gonzalez/ Dzinziruk 2 could be a possibility
