1.15 million I believe was reported by Dan Raphael.

Not bad considering people were saying they were sick of these 2 fighting and would not get it due to the horrible undercard.

Yeah Arum said 1.1 or 1.15. Clearly self-reported numbers like that from an untrustworthy source indicate a rerererematch would be the biggest fight in boxing history.

The fifth fight will be even bigger. Peps will want to know what a fifth fight will be like, will Marquez KO Pac again, will Pac KO Marquez, who will win. They both can stand to make 20mills each.

Safe to say it did better numbers than anticipated.
(Or else Bobby wouldn't be blowin' a load trying to make 5)

No chance the fight did 1.1 million. It would've been officially released by HBO if so. The fight turned out to be far more exciting than expected, but there was zero hype/interest leading up to this fight (meaning people didn't buy it).

The fight did around 700k buys.

Yea the numbers for Floyd-Ortiz weren't reported by HBO so it did around 200k buys.

    A 5th fight would outdo Oscar-Mayweather EASILY.

The fight was a great fight but great fights and great fighters don't always translate to big PPV numbers, see Roy Jones Jr as a perfect example of this.

I think what most people are saying is they have heard Bob lie too many times and even the said journalist has corrected his numbers in the past (Cotto vs Pacquiao)

It would be nice to hear numbers from HBO like we have from other promoters. I don't think anyone is saying anything negative about the fight or fighters.

So nothing to really hate on is there!
