Put a great wrestler in front of a good boxer and see how shitty their boxing becomes, for multiple reasons.
JDS can't be considerd a boxer till he has actually had a few pro boxing matches and beat a couple of top 20 guys, it's like sayin John Ruiz is an awesome wrestler cause the **** use to hold all the time during a boxing match.
I'm not an MMA fan but I remember before the Velasquez Lesnar fight that Velasquez was promoted as an excelent boxer and Lesnar as an excellent wrestler.
I wish your bitchass would stop making predictions! You just jinxed Dos Santos...We dont want your bitchass on our bandwagon... You're a terrible poster!:-(
Cain had his hands up by his chin during the standup, as would be expected of a wrestler worried about getting KOed again. JDS had his hands by his waist during most of the standup, as would be expected of a striker worried about getting taken down (see Chuck Lidell) MMA boxing is different.
I knew it. I knew you were a ****** ass ***** that watched two dudes ****in. I don't watch that gay ****. That's you mother ****er. Keep on with your gay ****. I heard you got bro raped. You were in a FRAT, right? That's right...you're ass got ANHILIATED. No wonder you can affiliate with this gay ****. Now get the **** outta my thread like the ***** you are.
I think that is in many cases true...but it never really gets tested in equal vs equal terms. Because no money has ever existed for great amateur wrestlers...you know have many great to very good wrestlers going into mma. However, you have yet to see equal level boxers making the transition. Also, MMA fighters who are wrestler always have some striking training (at least now adays) hence it is never a pure wrestler vs a pure boxer. Honestly, guys who are pure wrestlers and have never done any strike training are a bit more vulnerable than many might think.
